I spent my birthday earlier this month in New York City with my family and friends. It was the first time years that most of us were together, because we also celebrated a family milestone.
Though I ended up getting sick and surviving a terrible case of extreme weather (heath waves, thunderstorms, et al), it was a wonderful trip filled with incredible memories, iconic sites and even more importantly, meals to remember.
